OUR MISSION
Our Journey
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2003, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Lil Homies: Turf 2 Surf. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.

Get Involved
Feeling like there are countless pressing issues that no single program could make a marked difference? Our Volunteering initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for Lil Homies: Turf 2 Surf to successfully serve our community and improve countless lives.
Local Impact
Our current project is exhibiting an art gallery focusing on Chicano culture. The art gallery is a mission statement of sorts geared at starting a conversation on the state of our community and how best to address our current issues.
Supporting Growth
We at Lil Homies: Turf 2 Surf know that in order to support growth, our local parents need support too! Since our program is dedicated at supporting the overall household, we will be running classes for parents that they suggest are required. Interested? Email us for more info.
Summer Camp
Our summer camp is how this whole thing started! We understand that through education and sport we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Lil Homies: Turf 2 Surf, and a source of much success for our Nonprofit Organization.
Educational Support
Lil Homies: Turf 2 Surf is dedicated to putting our community first. Our Education program is our vision for the future! The goal is to create an online educational platform that serves kids at the elementary, Jr. High, and High School levels; with the ultimate goal of bridging the gap between Chicanos in college and their counterparts.
Community Connection
